Children's Ministry

Kids World Ministry was founded in 2002 by Amanda Schoonover and began with only a few children in regular attendance. However, Kids World began to grow and it wasn't long before money was raised to build the Kids World playground and later, a baseball field. The growth in Kids World didn't stop there and soon began to reach the kids in the local community.

Kids World Ministry began to flourish with the help of faithful volunteers. The continued growth of Kids World soon created the need for more space and the East Wing addition was constructed in 2012. The East Wing houses the new Kids World department and is designed specifically for the kids.

At PRC, we believe that the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. We believe that a strong foundation in Jesus Christ is an essential part of our children's lives. We strive for excellence by teaching the kids how to live through Godly examples and instruction. With God's help we will help your kids build a firm foundation in Jesus.

Kids World Ministry is designed to meet the kids right where they're at with lessons that impact their world for Jesus. The staff and volunteers of Kids World Ministry ensure that your child will be taught the uncompromised Word of God in a friendly and safe environment. Kids World Ministry is available through two classes: our preschool class (6 months to kindergarten) and our Kids World class (kindergarten to 11 years old).

Commission Youth Group

Youth Ministry

Commission Youth Ministry started in 2003 out of a small office, with just a few teens and a big vision that God had given Pastor Ken to minister to the youth in the local community. It wasn’t long and growth began to take place. Today Commission Youth occupies a beautiful Cafe equipped with a fully functional kitchen, pool table, flat screen TVs and games with x-box kinect!  All this was paid for by the hard work of the youth themselves, who through their commitment to fundraising and a desire to dwell in the house of God, have watched their dream come true!

Commission Youth, ages 12-19, join together in the Café every Wednesday evening (September-May) at 6:30 pm to learn more about the word of God and how to apply it in their everyday life. The youth also open the Café to the congregation every Sunday morning, serving coffee and breakfast items before worship begins. All proceeds go back into the Youth fund to be used for future events.

A highlight of being in Commission is the awesome trips and activities that are planned throughout the year, anything from ice skating for an afternoon to overnight trips to an amusement park!  Our main objective for our youth at PRC is to show them the love of Jesus Christ in action and teach them how to apply that action to their everyday lives.

The Commission Café is the place for teens to hang out together in a friendly, safe environment where they experience God in an exciting new way every week! Commission Youth is designed to impact the lives of today's teens with illustrative and challenging lessons from the Word of God and one-on-one counseling available to the teens.

Kids World Daycare started in 2004 with just one child and Pastor Ken and Amanda Schoonover's vision to have a Christ centered facility where children could be cared for and educated. Since then, the facility, staff, and the curriculum have risen to a whole new level! Amanda Schoonover is the daycare's executive director and, under her direction, the children are given quality care with an educational atmosphere.

Womens Ministry

Women's Ministry

Women's Ministry offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere to the sometimes busy, stressed woman! During the events here at PRC, the women can enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship, food, and bonding.

At PRC, our goal is to teach and train the women how to live Biblical lives. With a Proverbs 31 focus, we can love, encourage, and celebrate life to its fullest with Christ at its Center.

Women's Ministry is designed to instruct even the youngest of women with Godly principles while surrounding them with positive fellowship among peers. The Women's Ministry is a staple part of fun and a Godly outreach for women of all ages.

The variety of activities keeps women driven to be involved while they develop positive relationships that guide them in their walk with Christ. Remember that just because we stand as Christian women of God, it doesn't mean we can't have a good time as well!

Mens Ministry

Men's Ministry

At PRC, we believe a vital part of a strong and effective church hinges on the spiritual strength of the men in the church, the ability to stand strong and lead as God has intended them. Whether a leader in his home or a leader of a portion of the ministry, each and every man has the responsibility to guide those he has been placed over.

It is out of this knowledge and desire to see men stand up to the plate, that Pastor Ken birthed the ministry geared towards encouraging and strengthening the men at PRC. Designed to instruct even the youngest of men with Godly principles while surrounding them with positive fellowship among peers, the Men's Ministry is a staple part of a fun and Godly outreach for men of all ages.

The variety of activities keeps men driven to be involved while they develop positive relationships that guide them in their Christian walk. There is always something going on, from game nights and movie nights to men's retreat, food and fellowship, fun and games, laughing and encouraging, shooting guns and paintball wars. Remembering that just because we stand as Christian men of God, it doesn't mean we can't have a good time as well!

Forming strong bonds between the men of PRC causes them to stand in support of each other as one may walk through a difficulty, it allows others to step in and show an example of God's love. Creating the most effective bond the men can have.....unity in Christ! We encourage all men ages 12 and up to come out and join the Men's Ministry and experience life changing fellowship!

The Compassion Center

The Compassion Center

Community Share is the second Tuesday and Wednesday of each month from 9AM-12 noon.

The Compassion Center is the largest food distribution center in Tioga County. It is located approximately 2 miles west of Westfield, Pa. The Compassion Center serves the local community by providing over 6,000 food items free of charge (that is approximately 7,288 lbs. of food!) to over 500 individuals every month. There is an average of 14 volunteers who faithfully serve as we endeavor to serve the community and surrounding areas.

The Compassion Center currently offers our food distribution program on a monthly basis: Community Share. Community Share is a program that is designed for families of all ages who may be suffering from limited income or no income at all. There are over 275 families served through this program on a monthly basis.  Onsite registration is available for  this program.

The Compassion Center is an independent ministry that operates without a regular source of income and is run 100% by its volunteers. There are always many needs to be met when operating a facility such as ours, like paying the utilities, maintenance to the 1400 square foot building inside and out, and upkeep to the driveway, parking lot and lawn.

If you would like to partner with The Compassion Center as it endeavors to bless others you can help make a difference with your contribution. Every bit helps and your contribution is a tax deduction too! Please feel free to stop by and visit during our hours of operation or call 814-367-2221 to set up an appointment to tour the facility.

Heritage

The Heritage Center

The Heritage Center began in January of 2008 with a vision from Pastor Ken Schoonover to “take care” of the seniors. This vision stemmed from Exodus 6:8 “And I will bring you to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the LORD.” (NKJV) Over a period of time

Pastor Ken had watched a decline in the senior’s financial structure, which left many senior citizens forced to choose between paying their electric bill and buying their medicine. He felt the Church had a responsibility to its seniors, so he started putting on paper the vision God had planted within him. In February 2008 construction began on what is now known as The Heritage Center.

It was Pastor Ken’s desire that this ministry would be known and seen as a heritage “inheritance” for our senior generation. How could one build a facility to house those who had gone before us and paved the road to our future?

Through his compassion The Heritage Center began providing good, clean, safe housing units on June 15, 2008. Our first construction project provided us with 2 senior apartments, including all utilities and appliances such as: a stove, refrigerator, dish washer, washer and dryer.

Our maintenance department oversees all facility repairs including lawn care & snow removal. Over time we have seen a continual desire in those who wish to spend their retirement years on the Heritage Center property. What has become known as T.H.C. is just a portion of the vision God desires in this community, with expansion in the near future.

Harvest Of Hope

Harvest Of Hope International

Harvest of Hope International is a missions outreach that is supported by Pentecostal Revival Center and was founded by Pastor Ken Schoonover in 2004. Harvest of Hope is currently meeting the needs in 10 countries including the US.

As you drive up the driveway to the church campus you will see all of the country's flags flying as a symbolic reference of what God is allowing Pentecostal Revival Center to do. Harvest of Hope has two main goals as a ministry.

One is to meet the people's spiritual needs by preaching the Gospel to the people. The second goal of Harvest of Hope International is to meet the people's physical needs by providing for their physical and educational needs.

Pastor Jose Alvarez serves as the director of Harvest of Hope International and has a ministry called Kitchen of Love (KOL) that meets the physical needs of the people. KOL provides meals, education, and medical care for the people in these countries.

Harvest of Hope was founded to make the efforts of Pastor Jose Alvarez stronger. It is Pastor Ken Schoonover's desire that the mission "does more than simply send somebody to perform missionary work, but instead make sure that they connect heart-to-heart with the people they're trying to help."
